As you might notice, this page has changed completely from the last time you visited. We were visited by a cracker, who took the liberty of exploiting the Xoops installation we used to have for our main page. I have now installed Wordpress, and things are looking good.
I plan to utilize this main portal page far more than it was before, linking interesting articles, forum posts, hacks, and walkthroughs created by our team members. This should be a positive change for Team Hack-a-Day.
Over the next few weeks you will see additions and changes to this site, as well as some errors/downtime/etc. as formatting and content are tweaked. Please be patient while we make these changes - you will be pleased with the results, I promise.

Where is the link to go to the forums. Also, could you link the forum login to whatever this is? Even though I’ve already registered to post this, I still found it annoying (there’s only so many account creations until you begin to snap), and many will likely find it annoying too.
It is all coming in time. Like the original post stated, this main page will be undergoing major changes in the upcoming weeks, including the addition of links, possible PHPBB integration, etc. Please be patient, and all the things you want will come.
In regards to your statement regarding account creations, you could have created an account exactly mirroring your forum account, that way your user name and password would have been the same - eliminating the need to remember a new one.
It is exactly the same login/pass. However, I’ve registered too many times and the amount of captchas involved has slowly driven me insane and I have developed a mild phobia of registering.
This happens far too often:

Then add in the arbitrary requirements for username size and password, and you begin to see why I’m rather tired of registering. I’ve been on the web since ‘95 and I don’t even want to know the statistics of how many times I’ve registered for an account. Only the conglomeration of sites by Google and to a lesser extent Yahoo(still have insane captchas for somethings) has given me the opportunity to explore new sites without having to go through the web registering process.
Did I mention I’ve been driven insane by captchas? The questions you have to ask yourself even when the captcha is readable: Is this case sensitive? If so, is it sensitive to whats in the captcha, or does it need to be all lower case? Hmmm… they allow vertical and horizontal compression and expansion, so is that a big lower case x or a small upper case X?
AHAHAHHA!
